GDB is a community of passionate people who are committed to helping transform the lives of our clients. Whether you are ensuring sound fiscal management, cultivating relationships with donors, or working in the field with our volunteer puppy raisers, you make and maintain connections that are important to our mission. Our collaborative environment thrives on innovation and encourages learning and growth. If you enjoy both people and dogs, you will find our work interesting and varied, with something new happening all the time.
Puppy Raising Field Managers
In this key role, you’ll support our puppy raising volunteers and the puppies they raise. You’ll assess a puppy’s progress through the program and provide individualized support to maximize each dog’s potential. You will deliver educational workshops, take part in recruitment and media events, and enjoy personal and professional development. You can work from home or a GDB campus, with flexibility to create your own schedule. The role requires significant travel and occasional evenings and weekends. Program Coordinators
Across our many programs and initiatives, program coordinators help our operations run effectively by coordinating, managing, and executing assigned projects and activities. Program coordinator roles offer a wide range of administrative challenges in a designated area such as puppy raising, training and development, foster care, dog placement, and volunteer support. This is an opportunity to share and expand your talent for multitasking, organizing, and planning in support of an important mission.
Fundraising Experts
GDB provides services completely free of charge and does not receive government funding. We are a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization supported entirely by private donations, so we highly value the expertise of our fundraising team to cultivate the generous donors who support our life-changing mission. You can join our specialists in all major categories of nonprofit development: Major gift fundraising, special events, foundation giving, corporate giving, planned giving, and digital and direct-mail fundraising. You’ll enjoy being part of this enthusiastic group of experts as you brainstorm and discover new ways to attract donors.
Corporate and Other Roles
We need great people to help us provide shared services for our organization in a wide variety of areas such as Accounting, Human Resources, Information Technology, Marketing, and more. These roles directly support those who are helping us achieve our mission each day. In this way, you are an extension of the teams that work with our dogs and clients. Additional opportunities include working with our volunteers, overseeing dog placement, and managing operations in breeding, reproduction, and puppy socialization. Many roles are unique to our organization – and all offer satisfying challenges.
