Guide Dogs for the Blind 101

A webinar to explore GDB's client programs.

Are you interested in learning more about Guide Dogs for the Blind's client programs, but aren't quite sure where to start? Join us for a FREE informative webinar to learn all about the following GDB offerings: 

  • Guide Dog Program, including a discussion about the differences between white cane and guide dog mobility; how to determine guide dog readiness; the application path and criteria; client training options; and GDB's suite of follow-up and alumni services. 
  • Orientation and Mobility Immersion Program, developing the O&M skills that are most relevant to guide dog mobility.
  • K9 Buddy Program, available to both children and adults.
  • Programs for Youth, including Camp GDB and the Careers & Canine Connections program.

These 90-minute webinars are intended for individuals who are blind or visually impaired (including family members/friends), and blindness professionals interested in learning about guide dog mobility.
