Marketing and Social Media Guide for Volunteers

Volunteers play a significant role in supporting the Guide Dogs for the Blind brand, whether it is serving as an ambassador in the community or sharing news and updates via social media. The Marketing team at GDB is excited to work with our volunteers to reinforce our brand and reputation in a consistent and compelling way.

MEDIA OPPORTUNITIES

Please contact the Marketing team if you have been approached by a reporter or have been offered a media opportunity related to your role as a volunteer with GDB. Our staff can help work with the reporter directly or coach volunteers on the best way to represent GDB in the media using our media tools and talking points. If a club is interested in having the media cover a puppy delivery or other special event, please reach out so that we can support media connections with local outlets.

CORPORATE PARTNERSHIPS

GDB's Marketing and Development Departments continue to develop exciting partnerships with corporations. Oftentimes, there will be opportunities for puppy raisers to enjoy the benefits of these partnerships and/or help advance them. These relationships are managed carefully by staff, and clubs and volunteers are asked to direct partnership and sponsor inquiries to the GDB team.
