Power of Partnership
A campaign to raise $5 million to support Guide Dogs for the Blind's programs in Texas.
For 75 years, Guide Dogs for the Blind has been providing exceptional guide dogs for Texans who are blind or visually impaired. In fact, there are nearly 150 guide dog teams currently working together in the great state of Texas. Additionally, our wonderful volunteer puppy raisers in Texas are currently raising 125+ puppies and helping them on their journey to becoming guide dogs. With our Power of Partnership campaign, we are striving to raise $5 million over a period of three years to ensure we can continue to support these life-changing programs in Texas. Won’t you help?

Making a Difference in Texas
Meet three Guide Dogs for the Blind (GDB) graduates, who are living in Texas and enjoying enhanced mobility, independence, and inclusion through their partnerships with their guide dogs.
Jessica Naert, vocational rehabilitation counselor in Dallas, with guide dog Makiko:
“My guide Makiko is instrumental to my success at work and in life. She has found ways to help me at home, work, and out in the community, even in ways that she was not trained to do.”
Faith Snapp, freshman at Lubbock-Cooper high school, with guide dog Prim:
“I like that my family and I have reassurance that I can travel independently and safely. I also love that I have my very best friend go everywhere with me.”
Richard Romolo, retired Army officer in Cove, with guide dog King:
“Guide Dogs For the Blind is truly dedicated to improving lives of individuals with visual impairments and in my opinion, the guides that graduate from
GDB are the best of the best and have opened so many doors of possibilities in my life.”
