Foster Care Resources
Information and helpful tips to support our dedicated Foster Care Providers.
Welcome to the Foster Care Resource page! This page has been designed with Foster Care Providers in mind. Below you’ll find a wealth of helpful information that will continue to be updated, including forms, general information about foster care, medical and behavioral handouts and videos, and recorded presentations. As always, be sure to reach out to the Foster Care Coordinator should you have any questions. Thank you for fostering and for your ongoing support of Guide Dogs for the Blind’s mission.
The Foster Care Manual provides you with information regarding the foster care program and the management of all our program dogs. While each foster dog is an individual and will have management criteria prescribed specifically for him or her, this manual is your comprehensive resource and is general in nature.
Note: Using the Table of Contents, you can navigate to specific sections and topics within the manual.
